Predictions
Actuals
Traveled 623 miles.
Max altitude 22,000 feet.
15 hours of flight time.
Cause of death was a rainstorm.
General Thoughts / Observations
This flight was my first for using the Energizer 123 battery. The goal was to see how long the battery would last, but after 61 hours the balloon was brought down by a rainstorm.
This flight was a steady float that could have lasted longer if the rain did not take it down. We need to get to higher elevations so we are not so exposed to weather.
Thoughts for next time
Continue looking for ways to achieve higher elevations.
